Today we need to take a plane in the afternoon to go to Sydney. The major incidents for us will be to visit different beaches and enjoy this relaxing day.
We took our breakfast in a restaurant called Live Eat at the Sandy Bay. Reading the local news, the Hobart government is collaborating with Hong Kong to arrange direct flight between the two cities. It would be such a wonderful news for Hobart to connect with East Asia directly
After a full breakfast, we drove to Seagrass Long Point for drinks. It is a beautiful cafe with a sea view balcony.
These are the breakfast and lunch menu of Seagrass.
The weather today is very comfortable and breezy. We walked along the beach we found people barbecuing and child playing on the playground. The Australia government is very considerable in building swing for disabled children.
The end of the beach is the dog beach that dogs can go swimming. The sandy bay was a significant military site in the Second World War. Along the beach, there are a number of notice boards introducing the military history happened here.
We stayed at the beach and emerge ourselves to nature.
Before we say goodbye to Tasmania. We went to our last stop, the Seven miles beaches. It is the closest surfing beach to Hobart. As its name tells, the Seven Mile beach is 10.3 km (7 miles) long and faces southeast. This beach is very close to the Hobart Airport and it is the best destination to go before you took planes.
Finally, we left the seven mile beach and arrive at the Hobart Airport. The below blue circled area is for returning cars of all car rental companies. There are staff there who will check the status of your used car, get your key and GPS.
There is one souvenir shop inside the Tasmania Airport and the last chance for you to buy Tasmanian souvenirs. Although you can buy souvenirs from Sydney airport, the choices there are much less.
Finally, we arrived at the Sydney Airport. The hotel that we reserved is called The York By Swiss-Belhotel. It is just 7 train station from the Sydney Domestic Airport. If you do transit to another train from Central station, it takes you 5 stations.
Below is the train map showing you the the station of our hotel so as the domestic airport.
The hotel room equipped with balcony, living room, bedroom, and a fully furnished kitchen. This is a five-star experience to stay here.
They have an outdoor swimming, sauna, jacuzzi and a gym room. If you do not want to go out, you can easily spend your whole day inside the hotel.
After settling down in the York By Swiss-Belhotel, we took a night walk in the Darling Harbour.
Since we need to get up early the next morning, we need a short dinner and the best way is to have a pizza in the hotel. There is a Domino’s right opposite to our hotel, such a convenient place to live in.
